John,
You forgot a few other names. :-)
You also write:
In all these conflicts the one constant is Robert's vulgarity and mendacity.
You try to tackle psychology using maths. 20 persons have had issues with AR; therefore AR is wrong.
The one constant is ...
That is not the way you have to approach psychology and judging character.
You have to do like judges do: '''judge facts.'''
For each one of these individuals you'll have to see what the issues were and see how I reacted and was I right to react like I did.
Sometimes a simple event can make you draw a simple conclusion. Ex: in my fight with SunirShah, I asked him to discuss, to find a peaceful resolution of the conflict. No he wanted a war. Well he got a war. Who was the good guy? Yours truly because I wanted to avoid a war. I was the diplomat.
You mention these people I had issues with. Surely. But these people are certainly not all saints.
You also forgot to mention the dozens of people I never had issues with on C2: those who are kind, well-behaved, respectful...
You could also conclude that I don't take shit from anyone and I am right to do so.
I also don't accept the acts of some old-timers who think the wiki belongs to them and they are the ultimate authority on it and I'm right to do so.
Look at it this way: if all these people were kind, well-behaved and respectful, I certainly would not have had problems with them.
I do admit that at times I could have over-reacted. Like with PeterMerel. I should not have taken exception of his accusation that I wanted to drown his wiki. I should have explained to him kindly that it was not at all what I had in mind.
It goes to show that I am not 100% right but I have a pretty good batting average... :-)
